Holy Canoli!

Wow this has been a crazy last couple of  months! We have had so much going on.  Lexy was born in December  and last week Samara was born.  I love having all these babies around.  It is so much fun!  They really do keep me busy! Mary keeps me extremely busy. She always has a chore for me or she wants to go with me anywhere that I go. It’s way cute! I went to dinner on Valentine’s Day with Alex and Tam and the kids and each of us had a baby in our arms.  It was way funny cause Alex was joking about us looking polygamist.  We really did and I’m sure that people took a second glance.  Laura had some complications with Samara.  She was fine and got released on Friday morning to go home and then she had breathing problems and she went back in Friday night and they had her on all sorts of meds.  She gave us quite the scare.  I had Mary three nights last week and that was fun. She is such a doll! She was so excited when Laura and Kelly pulled into the driveway yesterday. She was giggling and clapping her hands.  It was so hard to have her mama and daddy gone so much.  I am glad that shes finally home and that shes ok.  Love you Laura!

Cute Little Nicholas

So, it’s been a while since I wrote anything on here.  The summer’s been pretty busy between work and play.  We have spent a lot of time at the cabin this year.  My dad sent me some cute pictures of Nicholas and I.  A while ago we went and played at my mom’s house.  I helped him build a Castle and he thought it was so cool.  We had to take pictures with it and ever since then he is always asking me when we are going to build another one.

What a Life

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve written because I have been so busy with work and all.  I really am struggling right now in my life and can honestly say “What a hard life this truly is”.  I feel like I have one struggle after the next and I can’t seem to get a break.  My pain feels like it is getting worse and it has been 8 long months.  I am going to get my heart checked on Thursday because they say that if you have constant headaches it could be a hole in your heart.  I have neck pain, too, but my head seems worse than my neck now so we just have to rule everything out.  Next Monday I am going in to get nerve block injections into my skull line.  This will be 10 injections that I have had so far and I am slowly losing hope.  I never realized how aweful chronic pain is and I will say this not only because I am going through it, but because I honestly think that head and neck pain is the worst possible thing you can have.  Especially, when they don’t know what’s wrong with you and you are pretty much used as a guinea pig.  I am so sick of doctors and I am sick of being in pain.  Hopefully, they will figure out what in the hell is wrong with me because I can’t take it much longer.

Mama’s Day

Mother’s Day was a blast.  We had everyone over to our house for a B-B-Que.  I brought Martin’s Remote Control cars out for Nick to play with and he kept running them into things.  He thought it was so cool.  Lyssie Lou loved Mr. Quackers, she started to quack and dance.  She used to be terrified of it, but now she realizes it is not going to hurt her.  Laura and Kelly were able to stop by for only a minute.  Mary loved watching the cars and she wanted to eat all of the fruit.  She loves fruit and she tried avocado which she likes, too.  Well, I shouldn’t be surprised, she constantly eats.  She always wants whatever we are eating.  Mama made out like a bandit with all of her gifts.  She got cute pictures and a water area for all of the kids to play with.  I figured that would be a great gift for her and me….  I really was the one who wanted it, it will give me a reason to play with the kids in the heat of summer.  Nicholas wanted to break it out right then.  He was all excited.  Happy Mother’s Day Mama and my Beautiful Sister Laura and Beautiful Sister-in-Law Tammie.

My Night with Lyssie and Mary

Friday night Tammie asked me to babysit Lyssie while they went to the Jazz Game and I did it at Laura and Kelly’s House.  I really needed Laura’s help because of my neck pain.  I am quite handicap from this.  It makes life pretty hard, but somehow I manage to survive.  Anyways, I have so much fun watching the girls together because they talk gibberish back and fourth.  Mary followed me around the house and Lyssie just rocked back and fourth on her hands and knees.  They get so excited when they are around eachother, it’s awesome.  Lyssie is so sweet and cuddly.  She is finally getting used to me and she just gives me loves.  That is really the best feeling in the world.

Ms. Mary & Mr. Quackers

Tuesday night I was able to babysit Mary at my house.  I know now how important it is to baby proof because she wanted to get into everything.  She discovered that pulling all the DVD’s out of the stand would make quite a mess and loved doing it.

I remembered that she loves a stuffed animal duck that I have, when you push his foot he quacks to “Old McDonald”.  She thought it was hilarious, she danced and laughed.  She wanted me to push it over and over again.  She would get so excited she would pick him up and start trying to pull at his wings, because they move while he quacks.

Tam’s Birthday Dinner

Sunday we had a family Birthday Dinner for Tammie’s Birthday.  We have decided to start doing dinners the last Sunday of every month for all of the Birthdays.  If there are no birthdays then we will just be together and have fun.  So I had to get a pic of Mary on her lamb because I swear she gets whiplash on that thing.  She is “Cwazy Mewy” as Nicholas called her.  We put Lyssie on the back and she didn’t quite know what to think about that.  It made her a bit nervous.  Oh, she is so cute though.  She gets so excited and starts clapping for herself and laughing.  I could just squish her.  Mary on the other hand gets so excited her face gets bright red and her body goes into what looks like convulsions.  She just is so excited about life and I don’t know of any other baby that has that much energy.  Nicholas was so sweet.  He is such a loving and well mannered little boy.  He took us outside and showed us how he plays soccer.  It’s absolutely amazing how such a little boy can dribble the ball down the lawn.  When he tries to drop kick it is it the best.  He kicks one foot after the other into the air and falls on his bum and laughs.  Once he sees that everyone is laughing he will do it over and over again.

The Nice Weekend

So, last weekend Katie from our Rock Springs Store came to stay with me.  We had so much fun.  It was the perfect weekend for her to come because the weather was so nice.  She is such a cute girl and we hadn’t officially met until Friday when she showed up at the office.  It was so funny because all of the guys here were finding excuses to come upstairs to look at her.  They all thought she was so hot.  Don, Kelly, and I took her to Hooter’s, her choice.  She used to work at the one in Florida.  I had never been because it’s not my cup of tea, but we had fun.  I have to say we were cuter than the girls that worked there and I’m not a big fan of their booty shorts.  They are so ugly.  That night I took Katie to Bohemian for dinner.  It is my favorite restaurant besides Coyote Creek in Rock Springs.  Anyways, when they were taking us to our table we saw one of the ugly girls that worked at Hooter’s.  She recognized us and gave us a dirty look, probably because we had different guys with us this time.  She probably thought we were hoochie mamas’.  She was wearing booty shorts still and it was like 40 degrees outside.  She was the hooch.  Anyways, Katie and I giggled about it.  Later that night we went to Oscar’s, which is a pretty fun club down from our house.  Martin was a dancing machine.  Katie and I were laughing so hard because he would just go around and dance with all the women.  Mainly the bigger girls.  It was hilarious.

Puerto Vallarta

Well, we just got back from an amazing vacation in Nuervo Vallarta, which is right outside Puerto Vallarta.  It was beautiful and everything that I could have imagined.  Martin and I got sick, but I did not want to lay down to this sickness, I am still fighting it.  We were signed up to go snorkeling on Friday.  We got on this beautiful sail boat and headed out to sea.  They were taking us to this special little island that is known for the beautiful sealife.  Well, there were so many jellyfish that we were unable to snorkel.  I have never heard of that many jellyfish at one time.  There were millions of them.

This is the sail boat we were on.  They took us to a private beach and let us lay out and enjoy for about a half hour.  It was absolutely beautiful.  There was a private resort there, too.  We just sat there and had some cerveza’s.  They taste so much better over there.

This is the beach outside our resort.

This is our resort and I took the picture from my parents room.  They had a beautiful view from the 8th floor.  We had the bottom floor, bummer.
